(Seasons End - Sun Setting on the Royal Quart Pub)
Hail, my friends,
I now have all my week 5 (Final Weekend) pictures up from the Upper Wisconsin (Medieval) Renaissance Faire. This was the weekend for "Marauders and Mayhem". Aye, highwaymen, marauders, rogues, theives, scoundrals footpads etc., all made their way across the lands to cause mayhem within the doon and along its roads leading in and out of it. Even the Queen was maraudered first thing in the morning and held in captive until we could find her. I and the town guard with the queens champion let no stone be unturned seeking her out and her captures. It was the most energy and high adventure of the season. I got some great video as well of some of the full armoured combat and, her Majesty escaping from marauders upon the zip line with her ladies. It is always the best when what you do you have fun so much doing with people you love working with. Everyone did such a great job and I am proud to work with them all. I was so tired after it all and the cast party, I slept which seemed forever once I got back home to Milwaukee. My only regret is I will miss it all until next season. Just go to the link below to view them. Enjoy!!!

And, as promised, I now have a few pictures up as well of my wooing award for the rose challenge the weekend before, as well as a new honor bestowed upon me this last weekend at the cast party of being the performer with the most accurate costuming. Something I didn't know they were even giving out. Thanks to all those who honored me with this award.
The weather for our last weekend was the best yet!!!. It hit the low 70's with a nice breeze and was sunny the entire time with the humidity being extremely low. The crowds were fantastic with many people returning for both days again this season. Especially one couple that came all the way from St Louis for the last two weekends as they did last year. Everyone was enjoying themselves and kept complimenting on how much fun they were having. I now look ahead to this coming weekend where I will be off to Bristol faire for most of the season with the exception of a few weekends due to other faires and faire related obligations. So for now, the 19/20th and 27th of July I should be in attendance for sure. Being it is only 20 minutes from me instead of 4 hours makes it a charm.
That's it for now, my friends, and always remember...
Dream the Dream and Live the Fantasy
Lord Clisto of York

We have perused your photos, Lord Clisto and are most impressed. Any Queen would be gratified to have such a knight in attendance at her court. Pray, convey our congratulations and warmest wishes on a successful season to Queen Joanna. If and when you are able to visit our own shire, you will be most heartily welcome - we shall take your arm and tour you about (with our good King Edward's permission) our humble lanes ourself.
