     Hello, my friends,

I finally made it to Bristol this season on Sunday, since finishing performing up North. This was already its 3rd weekend. I was going to go as I always do for both days, but I ended up on Friday evening at work being exposed to some chlorine gas which some untrained housekeepers in advertedly created after mixing the wrong cleaning chemicals while cleaning one of the rest rooms which I used. I got the burning in the throat and got the hell out quickly once I smelled what it was and reported the incident back in data processing. I left work early with coughing and a horse voice and of course didn't get to faire. But, it was also raining most of the morning as well, so maybe it was a good thing. But, Sunday I was well and got to Bristol with it being a great day. It was nice to be back to my home faire which is only 20 minutes from me. I met up with a lot of friends as well as made new ones. I had a super time. I also have my pictures up from Sunday as well. So, if interested in seeing them, just follow this link below.

The weather was HUMID!!! It hit in the high 80's with humidity being around the 80% mark. The sky's were cloudy off and on but it didn't rain. It also seemed the crowds were out in full force to, having heard they were somewhat small on Saturday from the early rains. They had a few new things to see as well as a new Queen standing in for our regular one who has been there for many, many years. She has been out injured for a while. Suffice it to say, I got my season pass and after handing out several of my large "Dragon Tears" to kids and telling them the story to go with them, I had a blast once again.

I will now be at Bristol for pretty much the rest of the season, with the exception of this coming Saturday, July 26th, where I will be attending my parents 60th wedding anniversary party. HUZZAH!!! So, if anyone is planning on coming by, stop me and give a shout with a hearty "What Ho"... That's it for now, my friends. Take care and remember -

    Respectfully,

Ah, Dragons! My kinda people --- but then again, Lord Seversword, you've always known that.

Anywho, if certain events are allowed to happen --- and note that I use the word "allowed" with a slight degree of trepidation --- I'll be doing Opening Weekend at Sterling Forest. As usual, the deal is that Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham duke it out all morning and afternoon until the Last Joust of the Day; I wonder every other year what their problem is with each other.

This is not, of course, to knock mine own home Renaissance Faire; you want to say 'been there, done that,' yet you find that you can't --- especially because the Queen is there, and you don't wish to disrespect Her Majesty. Still, I keep finding myself on the verge of wondering what the cause of the day's events will result in this time. Well, here's hoping we shall find out!

Got to go. Me throat's a bit parched, and I want a pastrami sandwich. Now.
